From Barn to Ring: Developing Skills for Every Species
Join us for a multi-day 4-H livestock camp designed to help youth build confidence, develop showmanship skills, and become responsible animal stewards. Open to youth ages 8–18, this hands-on experience covers Livestock Quality Assurance (LQA) certification, livestock nutrition, and species-specific workshops for cattle, swine, sheep, goats, dairy, rabbits, poultry, and horses.
Through practical sessions led by NDSU Extension agents, volunteers, and 4-H ambassadors, participants will gain valuable knowledge in grooming, handling, daily care, and show preparation. Whether you’re just starting your livestock journey or looking to sharpen your skills for the upcoming fair season, this camp offers something for everyone!
Register by May 20, 2025, to reserve your spot.
Requests for accommodations related to disability should be made to the event contact person at least two weeks in advance of the event.
